For Angela, Principal Designer of Ambit Curator, the joy lies in matching form and colour to the people who will live with them. Each selection becomes a quiet expression of personality, a moment of surprise, and a thoughtful extension of the project narrative. Through these pieces, Ambit Curator brings nuance, warmth and a touch of fun to every space it creates.
Ambit Curator is embracing the world of Nood Co, weaving our sculptural basins throughout several recent projects. In Hunters Hill, The Alpine Residence features the Cylinder Bowl Basin in a soft powder blue, a gesture that brings a cool serenity to the home’s refined palette. In Killara, at Atelier Provençal, a blush pink version was chosen for a young family, adding a gentle sense of play and charm to the interiors.
Project Letitia
Where bronze catches the light and invisible boundaries shape serenity, Letitia redefines multigenerational living with quiet confidence.
A multi-generational house in Oatley, ‘Letitia’ sits on 575sqm in Sydney’s south, overlooking the Georges River. The 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms residence was designed in a leafy setting, catering for a multi-generational living.
Letitia is a home that moves with quiet confidence, designed to embrace the rhythm of multigenerational living. Spaces flow with ease, defined by invisible boundaries that nurture both connection and solitude.
The lift in the house was tinted bronze; a finish used throughout the entire residence.
For the powder room, Angela sought a moment of colour that would harmonise with the timbers threaded throughout the home. She imagined an earthy accent that could sit comfortably within a palette of soft neutrals, brought to life by the natural light and generous ceiling height of the space.
The Nood Co. Molli basin in Clay, a dark, rich and earthy tone, was chosen as the room’s sculptural anchor for its warm presence and its ability to introduce depth without overwhelming the environment. Paired with bronze tapware, the curved form of the basin stands subtly in front of textured kit-kat tiles. A slender floating shelf rests against a Venetian plaster backdrop, creating a layered yet understated composition that elevates the powder room into a quiet moment of luxury for guests.
A Narrative of Warmth and Continuity
The clay tone finds its echo elsewhere in the home, most notably in the under stair reading nook where the vegan leather bench gently reflects the same warmth. This repetition of colour deepens the narrative of the interior, weaving a sense of continuity and intention throughout the spaces.
Every element has been carefully considered to bring comfort across ages. Natural light drifts through rooms where bronze tones catch the eye, a subtle gesture to timeless beauty, while soft cream hues lend a calm serenity. Together they strike a balance between strength and gentleness, between the heritage of tradition and the ease of modern living.
Terracotta accents add warmth to the palette, grounding the home with an earthy familiarity that speaks of belonging.
Letitia is more than a house. It is a quiet dialogue between generations, a place where design feels effortless and beauty quietly supports the life within.
